The Technology Tax
Victory!
Last week the State Senate voted in favor of the bill to repeal the Computer Services Sales and Use Tax.
On Saturday, April 5, 2008 the House of Delegates voted to repeal the Computer Services Sales and Use Tax.
The Computer Services Tax will not go into effect on July 1st.
Thank you for all of your support and communication with our elected representatives. This tax would have been a huge detriment to the computer services industry as well as all of the businesses who would have had the 6% added to their overhead.
